How Surgery Care collects, uses, and protects information — on this website and across the platform we run for surgical practices.
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This policy explains how Surgery Care handles information. It covers two different things: (1) this marketing website, surgerycare.app, and (2) the Surgery Care platform we operate on behalf of surgical practices. The way we treat information is very different in each case.
Patient health information
When a surgical practice uses Surgery Care, we handle protected health information (PHI) only as that practice’s service provider, under a signed business-associate agreement (BAA). The practice — not Surgery Care — controls that information and decides how it is used. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train models for other practices. Each practice’s information is walled off from every other practice’s.
If you are a patient and want to access, correct, or delete your health information, contact your surgical practice directly — they are the custodian of your record. We will support them in responding to your request.
Information from this website
When you visit surgerycare.app or submit the demo-request form, we may collect:
- Details you provide — for a demo request: your name, practice name, contact name, phone, email, surgical specialty, your reason for interest, timeframe, and any notes you add.
- Basic technical data — such as your browser type and general request information, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use website information
- To respond to your demo request and talk with you about bringing Surgery Care to your practice.
- To follow up about Surgery Care, including occasional outreach if we don’t connect right away. You can opt out of further contact at any time.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), under obligations of confidentiality.
Where your demo request goes
Demo requests are stored in our infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (United States) and trigger a notification email to our team. We retain this information for as long as needed to follow up with you and for our legitimate business records, unless you ask us to delete it.
Cookies
This site uses only what’s necessary to function. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we’ll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure operated under signed agreements. No system is perfectly secure, but security is central to how the platform is built, not an afterthought.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop hearing from us, email admin@surgerycare.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Children
This website is intended for surgical practices and is not directed to children. Any handling of a minor patient’s health information happens within a practice’s use of the platform, under that practice’s direction and its BAA with us.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform and our practices evolve. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
